The other night I worked a rare 5pm to 3am shift. After I got done I decided to go wander around up by the Columbia Heights Train Yard. It was pretty cold so I didn't venture into the actual train yard. However I did notice that the old bridge going over it is suddenly clear of construction signs and barriers. Hopefully this means it will reopen one of these days as it is a awesome shortcut between Marshall and University. It also makes for some great photographs.
